Together, we have 20 years’ combined experience in marketing and publishing. Our work has covered a wide range of areas, including eco-tourism, finance, luxury, art & antiques and politics.
WHO ARE WE?
OLGA was founded by Jessica Templeton Smith and Sophie Skarbek-Borowska.
Between them, they have spent over 20 years producing content and communications strategies for publishing, the third sector, art and antiques, gastronomy and luxury.
Jessica and Sophie are both Fellows of the RSA.
Sophie’s background is in journalism and politics. She began as editorial assistant for the Financial Times How to Spend It magazine, moving on to become desk editor at Verso Books and then studio manager at Headline Publishing. As an independent copywriter for over three years, Sophie created print and digital copy for clients in fashion e-tail, ecotourism and construction. She is experienced at researching and writing copy for websites, social media, press releases and email campaigns. She moved in-house at iProspect, becoming editorial manager, where she commissioned and managed content (editorial and video) for clients such as American Express Small Business, George at Asda and British Gas Business.
Jessica Templeton Smith
With a background in Modern European languages and the Arts, Jessica began her career at a literary agency, where she worked on books and proposals for Hans Ulrich Obrist, Rem Koolhaas and more. She worked major campaigns for the V&A Museum of Childhood and De Beers Diamond Jewellers, overseeing website copywriting, translation, photography and redesigns, as well as planning and implementing events and targeted social media strategies. As Content & Media director at iProspect (Dentsu Aegis Network), she established a strategic creative team that set client tone of voice, built relationships with digital influencers through outreach, and helped brands to use insights from data tools in their brand publishing strategies.
